Takis Moraitis: His Art

Takis Moraitis has held exhibitions in Canada (Quebec - Ottawa), the United States of America (New York – Washington –Philadelphia - San Francisco - Los Angeles), Great Britain (London – Edinburgh –Brighton - Kent), France (Paris – Lyons - Nice), Italy (Rome - Milan), Switzerland (Geneva), Belgium, Monaco, Romania, Cyprus,  Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

He has created a sensation with his personal exhibitions all over Greece: Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki. The painter’s works of art are in the City Halls of Piraeus, Crete, Syros, at the Art Gallery and Presidential Suite of Cyprus, at the Saudi Arabian Palace and at the Emirates of Bahrain.

Numerous paintings can also be found in private collections of Greek citizens residing in Canada, in the US and finally in Australia, after the exhibition he gave at the Ledra Marriot Hotel.

Takis Moraitis has been praised with many awards at several joint exhibitions and has been awarded first prize at Panhellenic Exhibitions of Seascape painters. He has also been praised with awards of honor for landscape exhibitions with sea themes held at the Art Academy in Lyons, France and at the International Academy of Dioscuri, Italy.
