We now cut over to Dionyssiou Areopagitou Street which like many other avenues has been closed to auto traffic and is now pedestrian only.
It begins at the Temple of Zeus and goes around the Acropolis and becomes Apostolou Pavlou street in Thission and ends back in Monastiraki.
The neighborhood is called Makrianni and has a number of nice hotels, restaurants, cafes and even a wine bar. This is where the Acropolis Metro Station is too
though it is still a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis.
