With
great love, piety and respect towards God, since He was the one who gave
me the ability to paint and hence be able to support my family, I paint
these figures of the Saints.
For
me this is a way to get familiar with the life of every Saint separately.
In the same time, this is beneficial for the soul.
I
use traditional materials, such as egg, some vinegar and hagiography powders.
I paint on wooden surfaces that are worked out in a way so as to last in
time. I use old wood, dug, with engraved the outer parts. I also draw paintings
where the Saints' figures are bas-relief. |
