This is where Syngrou Avenue connects with Amalias Avenue. As you can see in the photo a pedestrian stopped the policeman to ask him a question and distracted him for long enough to plunge the intersection into chaos. Notice the taxi and motorbike in the pedestrian crosswalk and the person trapped on the median. The people in the lower right obviously feel it is safer to cross away from the cross-walk than in it. Probably not a good idea.
